The Challenge

Stagecoach wanted to gain insight from non and infrequent bus users of Stagecoach services. They wanted to know the reason why some individuals stopped using their services. They needed to understand awareness levels of Stagecoach’s new initiative’s, such as “My travel pass” and the usage and perception of the Stagecoach bus app. Stagecoach wanted to find out whether some form of incentive would entice users to try or return to their services.

The Solution

Our team carried out face to face research in three key areas of south wales, targeting people at taxi ranks, train stations and car parks. We over delivered on the target sample size.


The findings have highlighted opportunities to increase the number of passengers and has helped to strengthen marketing plans going forward.
